1. Essence is artificially synthesized to imitate the concentration of fruit and natural spices. It is a raw material that gives cosmetics a certain aroma. It is one of the key raw materials in the manufacturing process. It is not volatile and has a pungent taste.

Essential oils is volatile aromatic substances extracted from the flowers, leaves, stems, roots or fruits of plants through steam distillation, extrusion, cold soaking or solvent extraction. Essential oils is divided into diluted and undiluted. Essential oils is highly volatile and will evaporate quickly once exposed to air. For this reason, essential oils must be stored in dark bottles that can be sealed. Once the bottle is opened for use, the cap should be closed as soon as possible.
Summary: Essential oil is the essence extracted from natural plants, while essence is a synthetic product.

2. The amount of synthetic flavor added in cosmetics is very low, generally 0.1-0.3%, and the fragrance is stable and long-lasting.
Essential oils is very volatile. When the essential oils is exposed to the air, as part of the small molecules volatilize and some chemical components are gradually oxidized, the essential oils will present different levels of smell. It can be said that the fragrance of essential oils has a soul.
Summary: The fragrance of essence is more stable than essential oil.
